About the Project

Project Turning Tides is focused on augmenting the conservation efforts among fishing communities in Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) of India. 

Recognizing that sustainable coastal ecosystems depend on both policy and local engagement, the project works at the intersection of resource provision, education, and advocacy. By donating essential equipment, developing accessible educational materials, and facilitating knowledge exchange between experts and fishing communities, Project Turning Tides aims to foster long-term stewardship of marine biodiversity while safeguarding the livelihoods of those who depend on it.
